Our Transit to Thomson Reuters EIKON Platform

Given the key flaws of Capital IQ having insufficient research reports, Roshan and I took time to speak to various data proviers (e.g. dealogic, preqin, etc.) to source for another data provider.

 

We decided to go for Thomson Reuters due to its excellent research coverage and easy-to-use platform which met all our needs.

Key Contributions

  • Organized 2 training sessions with Thomson Reuters for the team

  • Key contact with the Thomson team to come out with our comps table

  • Met up with the TR team over several sessions to identify bugs and to fine-tune the comps table for efficiency and accuracy of use

    • The team is currently using the updated comps table as refined from these discussion
